This offering was inspired by a NewsNation Prime interview aired July 6, 2025, where anchor Natasha Zouves spoke with Tracy Walder, a mother and advocate for families impacted by the Texas floods.
Tracy shared how, in desperation, parents began posting their personal phone numbers alongside photos of their missing children, just trying to stay reachable. But even after receiving the worst possible news, the calls kept coming from strangers, media, and spam.
There was no pause for grief. No space to breathe.
That moment stayed with us. It led to this offering.
We realized we could quietly help, by offering a private, trackable phone line that allows families to stay reachable without giving up their privacy.
WHAT WE'RE OFFERING
We are providing complimentary private phone numbers and usage minutes to families impacted by disasters or emergencies, not just in Texas, but wherever this kind of help is needed.
There are no strings attached, no PR campaigns, and no fees. Just real support.
THESE LINES CAN
1) Be shared on flyers or social posts.
2) Connect with search groups or media without giving personal numbers
3) Receive voicemails and transcriptions while preserving privacy.
4) Create space to grieve or focus, while still being reachable.
HOW IT WORKS
1) You’ll receive a dedicated phone number.
2) You choose how calls are handled:
- Forwarded to your phone
- Sent to voicemail (with transcription and urgent alerts)
3) If voicemail is selected:
- We’ll alert you if anything sounds urgent
– You’ll have 24/7 access to all messages
– We’ll test the number to make sure it works
Note: Forwarded calls will ring through without filtering. If you need peace and space, we recommend voicemail-only mode.
